Serving bowls
- 1/2 cup Bulk Dry Vanilla Pudding Mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the Bulk Dry Vanilla Pudding Mix and cornstarch.
Gradually whisk in the cold milk until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Place the saucepan over medium heat, whisking constantly until the pudding thickens and comes to a gentle boil.
Continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes while whisking until the pudding reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.
Remove from the heat and divide the pudding evenly among serving bowls.
Serve warm or cover the surface with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming and refrigerate until chilled before serving.
Whisk continuously while cooking to prevent lumps.
Whole milk will produce the richest, creamiest pudding, but 2% milk also works well.
Cover the surface of the pudding with plastic wrap while chilling to prevent a skin from forming.
Serve with fresh berries, whipped cream, crushed cookies, or use as a filling for your favorite desserts.
